Not What I ExpectedNeeded red highlighters and so I ordered these. Little did I know they were like a wax marker. No ink. They work really well, but you cant really write over them.

Not really redThese gliders were just OK. I had a set of Blieve gliders and my red ran out. I didn’t want to reorder a set so I ordered these because I only needed red.Unfortunately the reds were not the same and this glider left clumps of wax as seen in my first picture. Top is the Blieve pink glider, bottom is this red glider.Second pic shows Blieve red glider used on my Bible, the second set of highlighting (beginning on verse 35 is this red highlighter. As you can tell in this pic as well as the first, it’s not quite red…its more of a peach or coral. You can also see in the highlighting done above shows no clumping… This was a Blieve glider. The highlighting done by this one left a clump in my Bible seen over the word “recline” in verse 37.If the reds matched I’d keep using this glider and deal with smoothing of the clumps. Instead I’m returning these and ordering another set of Blieve gliders.

The Best Choice for Bible HighlightingThe only highlighters I use in my Bibles are Accu-gels. They don’t bleed through the thin pages, and are not easily seen from the other side of the page like ink-based highlighter markers, yet are darker and easier to see where you want them to be seen, than highlights made by colored pencils. The only two drawbacks to Accu-gels are that they will sometimes crumble a little while highlighting, leaving tiny little pieces on the page; and, if they sit unused for a while (or maybe it’s as they age) they crust over on the tips, and I have to use a knife to whittle some of the crustiness off. So they’re not perfect, but they are the best thing I can find for Bible highlighting. I recommend them.

Nice gliders!!So grateful for a red glider Bible highlighter! It’s just too light so it doesn’t really look as red it looks a little pink. I can’t find a “Red” anywhere and I understand red is dark for a highlighter but I still want a RED one.

Not really redNice highlighters but more pink than red!

  6. Matthew

It’s just for bibles, not anything elseI like this product but I think it would be a lot better if little pieces didn’t come off and smudge, but it’s still an okay product, in my opinion a little overpriced for only 2 colors in one pack. Not the best and not the cleanest highlight, but it’s good for highlighting some verses when you need it

  7. TB

Not super brightNot as bright as expected, but I do love these highlights!
