The Holy Communion
Also, known also as the Lord’s Supper, represents the greatest expression of God’s love for His people.
Two items are used in the Holy Communion—the bread/ wafer represents Jesus’ body that was scourged and broken before & during His crucifixion, and the cup which represents His shed blood.

Great flavor; hard to open.We were glad to get the Miracle Meal communion cups, delivered quickly when we were in a pinch. They do open quieter than what we had been using. However, they do not open well. The cellophane comes off easily to access the wafer, but the foil for the juice is impossible! What I observed is that the fuel is fused to the plastic that lines the cup, and it is of utmost difficulty to separate the two. The last thing you want to be doing at the moment of communion is giving directions as to how to slip your finger nail between the two.We originally ordered two boxes and have used about half of one box, but we will be tossing the rest. So disappointed!

Beat up – just like Jesus? After quite the hassle getting this product delivered from UPS, I was quite happy to have these communion elements finally in hand, as we only had enough elements for one more Sunday (we celebrate communion weekly). Because of a few complaints from my church family about our previous pre-packaged elements (they were really hard to open – we joked they had been packaged at Fort Knox), I decided to try a different brand. Because Miracle Meal…#1) touted their quiet lids, plus ease of opening (simply snap the lid down, then peel back),#2) was a bit cheaper than the previous brand we were using, and#3) gave an impressive “presentation” of their product (great logo, great copy, etc.)…we decided to give Miracle Meal a try.Despite the other negative reviews, I found no issues opening the cups, nor did I find the juice offensive (it is actually better than our previous brand). Why then am I only giving two stars? Because every single communion cup is dented! Now, that might be an exaggeration, as I did not look at every single cup in the box of 1000. But cup after cup that I pulled out of the box was indeed dented. They honestly look beat up.Now, in defense of Miracle Meal, they included a note in the box that said because of occasionally leakage of some cups, they threw in extra. That’s quite nice of them. But I can’t help but think that if they used a higher quality plastic, their cups wouldn’t dent so much and therefore wouldn’t have leakage. (I did not discover any leakage in our box, but if there had been I would have hated to have had to wipe down tons of cups as I suspect the juice would be sticky once dry.)So, despite the flavor being fine and the lids opening easily enough, I will not be purchasing Miracle Meal again. The cups look terrible and feel really strange in your hand. I find them distracting rather than helping draw my mind and heart towards Christ & His sacrifice at the pinnacle of our worship service.

Need good dexterity to use these cupsThe cups are pretty ‘soft’ so it is difficult to peel off the covers to the bread and the wine compartments. There were a lot of spills when we used these for the first time this past Sunday.I also did not expect the 1000 cups to be packed loose in one big cardboard box that was somewhat squashed during delivery. A few pieces of bread came off the cups. We were glad the seals to the juice did not break.

Tastes odd and is hard to openI bought this for my church to use when we reopened following the quarantine for a safer, healthier alternative to passing a tray. It is a hygienic alternative, however, it is very difficult to open. Our 65 and up people were not in attendance, but if they had been, it would’ve been disastrous. I now tell people to familiarize themselves with the cup before our time of communion so that they won’t be wrestling with the packaging 20 minutes later. Then, when you get it open, both the wafer and juice are odd in flavor.

Not awful taste, great sanitary packagingThe wafer in all these are pretty bad, but this one is at the bottom of the barrel. The juice doesn’t necessarily taste bad, but it’s a little odd. The packaging is really great though. They work perfectly during the Covid Outbreak and were the most sanitary way to do communion.Edited to add that it’s not even REAL GRAPEJUICE! C’mon!

Delivered Fast – Excellent Product. We ordered these in response to the COVID virus. They worked out great. The juice is excellent, the wafer is what you expect out of these. It doesn’t taste the best, but I have never found one that does. It works for what we need during this time.

Very hard to openThese are extremely hard to open. Most of our older members require assistance. Had to toss a whole box, because we couldn’t open them.
