Lightweight for thin Bible PagesNice to have book markers, when I need to find a verse in a hurry, without taking time to go through mnemonics to get there quickly. These are very pretty, but also, very thin, so they don’t bend the pages. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND doing a test one first, to get perfect alignment. I didn’t, and my Genesis marker was way off, but I was just too eager. The set has a test tab included.

This is My Second Set of These Tabs and I Love Them!I purchased a new Bible recently and wanted to get tabs to go with it. A couple months ago, I ordered
Bible Tabs: Majestic Bible Tabs, Lavender
and had great success with those so I decided to go with tabs from the same company again, this time in gold. They are just the right price point and I knew what I was getting so I didn’t hesitate to purchase these. These tabs are ideal for bigger bibles such as
Life Application Study Bible: New Living Translation
, which is one of the Bibles I own. For smaller Bibles, you may want to look at buying mini Bible tabs. This package of tabs contains a total of 84 gold foil-edged tabs with the names of the Bible printed on both sides. There are a total of seven sheets of tabs with 12 tabs on each sheet. The white and gold parts of the tabs with the books of the Bible on them each measure about an inch long by 1/4 inch high. Some of these sets don’t contain tabs for the Catholic books of the Bible but this one does! In addition to the tabs that work for both the Protestant and Catholic Bibles, this set also includes tabs for the books of Judith, Tobit, 1 and 2 Maccabees, Wisdom, Sirach, and Baruch. There are also tabs for Notes (3), Special, Concord, Index, Old and New Testaments, Maps, Practice, Life Verse, Helps, and General. These tabs are made in China. This is my second set of tabs so I already knew how to put them on and the process took me about an hour since I was doing it very carefully. If this is your first time doing it, you will definitely want to read the instructions carefully and possibly practice with the “practice” tab or some of the tabs you don’t plan to use. Here are some tips I’ve learned from applying two sets of these tabs:- Don’t rush! The clear parts of the tabs are just like stickers and once they are applied to the pages, you may not be able to remove them. If you haven’t pressed them down firmly yet, you MAY be able to carefully remove them from the thin pages and redo it but I wouldn’t count on being able to do that. I was able to do it with my first set and I was glad I hadn’t pressed the tabs down too much at that point.- When using a new sheet of tabs, always fold the tabs along the gold edges (or whatever color you happen to purchase) BEFORE removing them from the sheets. This will help you to fold the tabs over more easily when you are applying them in your Bible.- I’ve had great success peeling the tabs from the actual tab than with the clear sticky part because sometimes the tab starts to pull away. Much like peeling a sticker off a page, I would peel off the tabs from the white and gold parts where it is a bit stronger.- When you are applying the tabs, always look to see which position this next tab should be (e.g. 1,2,3…) before applying the tab to the page. Sometimes I forget which position this tab is, so I just look at the ones I already did to see where this next tab should go.- You will always apply the tabs to the pages on the right, no matter where the book of the Bible begins. Some of my tabs are on the title page of that book and others are on the page with the first couple of chapters.- If some of the words in your Bible come to the edge of the pages, don’t worry about not being able to see with these tabs. The parts that actually touch the pages are clear so you will be able to see through them with no problems.- Once you’ve attached a tab and are happy with how it looks, make sure there is only one page sticking to the tab before you fold the tab over to the other side. After the tabs are fully applied, I always smooth the tabs down on both sides.- When I’m opening my Bible with these tabs, I don’t pull on the tabs since they could rip the thin pages. Instead, I find the book I need, slide my finger in and open my Bible that way.The more I use these tabs, the more I like them! I’ve already successfully attached two sets of tabs and I still have at least one more to do. I feel these tabs are very helpful to me so I can quickly navigate through my Bible, especially during church. They come in several different colors and styles to fit different personalities and they are priced nicely so you can purchase several sets if you need to or give them as gifts. If you have a Bible and want to purchase some tabs, I highly recommend this brand of tabs! Some of the colors won’t work for Catholic Bibles but these gold ones do. I actually find applying these tabs to be fun and relaxing and look forward to doing another set soon!

They work…These are decent. I got them to use in a Bible I purchased for my dad, so I wanted something plain he could easily read (I have fancy ones on my bibles & on my moms). They were easy to put on and adjust if needed, so that’s a plus. There were a couple things I wasn’t in love with though… the guide has the tabs overlapped so you can’t clearly see what is written on each (especially those books close together, like the minor prophets) because part will be hidden. So, I decided to skip and do every other tab guide. Also did not like that they were kinda lazy and just did 1-3 John as one tab instead of a tab for each. I know 2&3 John are like one page apart – but come on. Also, the part of the tab that goes on the page is clear – which is nice, but it also makes it a little bit like guesswork when putting it on. My other tabs are split and rounded on the page and then outside of the page. Idk. Just different. Not horrible. My least fav part was the 1-3 John tab.

Does the jobThese are great for marking the chapters in your bible. Good quality and easy to read. The only thing that required some work was lineing them up properly but after few tries it worked well. Would buy again.

Very nice and helpfulThey’re very stylish. The print is a decent size, but boarders on the smaller size. Require some patience to put on. The tab guide does help a lot. There’s a practice tab, use it if you’re not familiar with the practice. The bottom of the tabs are see through but thick, so if your margins are close to the edge of the page you may have trouble placing or may have to deal with a couple of letters being covered. Really nice for the price.

No more flipping pagesThese tabs are very nice, they make finding the book your looking for so much easier. The only problem I’m having is that my pages are getting tore where the tab is attached. It’s not happening when I’m using the Bible, it happens while I’m carrying it or something to that effect. All I have had to do so far is just tape the tab back down to the page but if it was to get torn completely off I’m not sure what I’d have to do. Even with the issue I’m having with the pages getting torn I’d still buy them again in the future.
