Especially lovely on a Bible with gilded edgesI bought these to use on a study Bible with gold edges. Because this particular Bible has lots of sections of introductions/notes, I bought two sets of tabs for the same book. (Each set comes with two tabs labeled NOTES and I wanted 4 of those.) It proved useful, as well, as it gave me a “backup” tab in case I messed up a tab (and I did).Heeding the advice of earlier reviewers, I ignored the spacing guide that came with the tabs and went to page layout software (I’m a graphic designer) to make a new one based on my particular Bible. (This was especially important as the pages in my book have curved corners instead of square.) I allowed myself three or four hours to get the job done, and took a deep breath; as a perfectionist this was a high-pressure task. The tabs are a nice thickness. Earlier reviewers have debated whether or not they are “removable” in case of incorrect placement, and quite frankly, that’s going to entirely depend on the specific paper your publisher used in the book. In mine, I found the plastic layer of the adhesive peeled up easily with tweezers without damaging a page. The paper layer underneath, however, really stuck down tight, and it took me a long time with tweezers before I got the bulk of it off. It really is critical to be careful with the initial tab placement; thin Bible pages aren’t made for much tweezer intervention. Given the choice between damaging a tab and damaging a page, I chose to wreck a tab, so again, I was glad I had bought a second set. The tabs fold easily along the midline and are easy to consistently place using the lines that lie along the page edge. The tabs are well-manufactured, so I found that any challenges were user error and not the fault of the tabs themselves. It is a slow task, but I LOVE the way the gold tab detailing and the gold edges of the Bible look together. Totally worth it. (I’m always curious when I read reviews to know what particular Bible reviewers are using. In my own case, I’m using the ESV study Bible published by Crossway.)

Delux Majestic Bible Tabs – Very PrettyI don’t usually use tabs in my Bibles, but I recently got a 1611 Edition King James. The Old English makes locating things not quite as easy. I was delighted to find these with the pretty font – just perfect for this Bible.I had no problem peeling them from the backing, and also found them pretty forgiving of errors. I totally misplaced one, and was able to carefully peel it away and place it in the correct position. I discovered my error right away, so don’t know if it would have been as easy if I had not noticed it until later. I ended up sort of adjusting the guide a little, and using the cut off end UNDER the page to help me place them. See photos.Besides the tabs for the Old Testament and New Testament books, this set also includes:Notes (3 tabs) – Practice – Special – Helps – Life Verse – Maps – Index – Concord – Old Test – New Test – Judith – Tobit – 1 Maccab – 2 Maccab – Wisdom – Sirach – BaruchMy 1611 version includes 14 books of the Apocrypha, whereas this set includes tabs for only 7. I would have given it 5 stars had it included tabs for all of them.

Nice TabsI bought these for my new leather Bible. I knew I did not have the patience for this so I asked my husband to complete this little project. Everything you need is in the packet. I would read the directions three times before you start. If you mess up you won’t be able to remove the tabs without tearing the pages. There are tabs for the old testament, new testament and maps if you choose to use them. All tabs go on the right page. It took my husband about an hour to complete this. Looks fabulous!

Great tabs! These are great tabs. Stick very well but still allow you to peel off if made a mistake as long as both sides are not stuck together. I love how they include the extra books for the Catholic bible, to which I needed. Most of all, I love how the tabs are outlined in gold and a decorative design is on the tabs itself, really made our family bible pop.

Title TabsI have bought these many times, I think only once or twice from Amazon, I love them, they are easy to use and I still need more sets for my other Bibles. I will definitely buy them from Amazon, I received them quickly.

These tabs are really nice! The size is perfect for my Bible. They were easy to put on the pages. The only problem I had with them is when pulling them away from the waxy paper they have a real tendency to want to pull the paper tab from the glue, Instead of peeling off cleanly. I have found that pulling them up closer to the middle of the tab was the easiest way to not tear the wording from the glue behind it. I hope that makes sense. Just go real slow.

They will rip your thin bible pagesThough these are well made and are quality, I would not recommend them. They are made so well that when they are folded over to create a tab it’s very thick and sturdy. The problem with that is when you grab a tab to flip to that chapter it ends up tearing the page in the bible because they don’t flex with the thin bible paper and rips instead. I hope this makes sense and is helpful.I ended up cutting them out of my bible by cutting the tabs flush to each page and replaced them with other, more flexible tabs that I bought on amazon.
