Great valueYou can’t go wrong with this when the price is so low. The animation quality is like that typically seen in basic Saturday morning cartoons, which is good enough for kids. What I like is that all the videos in this series give all the important details of the story, rather than giving a shallow, watered-down version as is usually the case in children’s stories. These will entertain preschoolers up through junior high and the script is very closely based on the scriptural account. The only reason I didn’t give this series a 5 is that each video has a hokey song that could definitely have been left out, but for such a low price and good script, I can overlook that.

Great teaching toolSuch a great movie. The kids learn the songs and sing them ALL THE TIME. Good for them; annoying for Mommy lol. Great teaching tool

Not Biblically accurateA little bit of license is one thing, but this is convoluted, out of order, and just plain wrong in places.Inaccuracies in comparison to the Bible-Saul was removed from the throne in the Bible for stepping outside his authority and making sacrifice to God. Here, he is punished for being disobedient with the conquered king and spoils.David is portrayed as practicing sling-shooting at home. There is zero evidence in the Bible of this.David chases the lion while slinging stones at it the whole chase, before finally swatting it with a staff. The Bible records David grabbing the lion by the jaw and clubbing it to death. The description of Goliath and his equipment seemed to be missing. As are his continual daily taunts to the Israelite Army. The fight between David and Goliath is portrayed as David ‘running and gunning’ away from Goliath who chases him while thinking to himself “I’ve got to find his weak spot.” The Bible describes this as a very short fight with Goliath not only never getting a weapon involved, but being handily defeated by a single stone thrown on the move by David(the first and only time David is mentioned having anything to do with a sling). This was when I turned it off. I couldn’t take the inaccuracy anymore.I’m all for entertaining our kids and raising them up with the Bible, but can we not stay true to the Bible when we do? The Lord of the Rings movies and Ender’s Game were as accurate to their source material as this video is to the Bible.

Nice taleMy children love this movie. We ordered several from this company, and they are nice for the price you pay. They don’t compare to the blockbuster The Prince of Egypt, but they relay the bible quite accurately, in a child-friendly manner. The producers are also careful not to show violence too, if that’s a concern for some parents. You never see any bloodshed, or any weapon piercing someone.

It gives a great overview of the life of Moses and the 10 …This animated movie is well done and I will be using at VBS this year. It gives a great overview of the life of Moses and the 10 Commandments.

LessonMust have to teach your children about life and that God is in control of this life. America must get back to God, these DVD’s will help your child to grow in the Lord, the stories bring me back to my parents teaching and bible school classes. Children need to know that life decisions rather right or wrong affects each and every one of us.

Greatest Heros and Legends DVDMy grand kids love this DVD. I got many more bible story DVD’s in the set and they love each one. They pick one out as we drive to church. They sing the songs and know each of the stories. What a wonderful idea to teach the bible stories to the young ones!!!! I recommend it highly!!!

Four StarsNot 100% biblically accurate, but the kids get the jist and it is well done.

ImpressedI was very impressed with the quality. I was half expecting 80’s quality or cheesy storytelling, but am very impressed with cartoon quality that matches anything on Netflix and storytelling that entertained adults as well as kids.
