Judas song terribleThis DVD was OK the negative thing is that is seems to put more emphasis upon Judas than upon Jesus at times. there is a song about Judas that sings, “Your a backstabbing, two faced crook…” no matter if this is true or not I don’t want my children talking like that and I certainly don’t want them singing that song. But I do watch it still and just mute the song…my toddler doesn’t know the difference and still loves it.

Just OK…I received the video promptly and should have taken heed to the reviews written on the video before I purchased it. First of all, it skipped, but even more importantly, I was searching for a video on the Last Supper for my First Communion class (7 year olds). The Last Supper section was very glossed over. The focus was more on Judas and his guilt. I really just didn’t want to show it to the class. Perhaps for another occassion??

Great presentation.I have used these movies with my 6th grade religion class as a supplement to the book and I really like them and so do the students. Charleton Heston does a great job introducing the story. Would recommend these as a way to give the stories of the bible greater meaning.

  4. Yolanda Hill

ExcellentI ordered severeal of these to show to my kids. As we read each story I wanted to show them the movie behind it. The kids enjoyed these very much and at a inexpensive cost, it is definitely worth it. It’s very engaging and can allow for much interaction with the kids.

Religious DVDMy granddaughter wanted me to get her this. She watches every time she is by my house. She is learning about Jesus and God in school and she loves that she can tell me what is going to happen.

dvdgreat way to tell the bible stories for the younger kids. My grandchildren loved watching the movie. Going to buy more of the dvds. Charles Heston did a great job telling these stories.

Powerful DVDAnother perfect video that brought to life the happenings of Holy Week. My students were mesmerized and truly found themselves transformed back to the day of the Last Supper, the first Mass.
